As the Chair of the Early Career Professionals Liaison Conference Committee, I am pleased to invite expressions of interest for the position of Secretary.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Liaison Psychiatry to become actively involved in shaping the work of the Faculty and contributing to our community of early-career professionals. The subcommittee plays a key role in organising the annual Early Career Professionals Liaison Conference, supporting engagement across professional groups, and ensuring representation on the Liaison Faculty Executive Committee.

The post of Secretary is a two-year commitment: one year as Secretary, followed by one year as Chair. Both post-holders are co-opted onto the Faculty Executive Committee and attend national meetings three times a year. This is a valued opportunity to gain deeper insight into College processes, influence Faculty activities, and build meaningful connections with national leaders and colleagues across the field.

We welcome expressions of interest from:

• Psychiatry residents of any grade with an interest in Liaison Psychiatry
• SAS Psychiatrists with an interest in Liaison Psychiatry
• Newly appointed consultants working in Liaison Psychiatry
• Nurses or allied health professionals currently working in UK Liaison Psychiatry teams

If we receive multiple expressions of interest, we will invite candidates to give a brief (2–3 minute) introduction during our upcoming virtual conference on 30 October 2026, followed by a vote from attendees.

The 黄色仓库 is inviting poster submissions for the Liaison Psychiatry Resident Doctors, New Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Conference taking place online on Friday 30 October 2026.

All submissions will be reviewed ahead of the conference and successful authors will then be invited to have their poster displayed as a digital poster.

Deadline for submissions is Monday 14 September at 1pm.

This event will be taking place online via a platform called EventsAir. Registered participants will receive their link to join the conference in their joining instructions. Joining instructions will be sent out in the days before the event is due to take place. 

When you join the conference online, you will be able to:

• view a video of the speaker alongside any slides
• ask your questions to the speakers and chat with other delegates via the discussion forum.

All registered participants will also have access to this event recording until 22 January 2027 (12 weeks).

• a PC, laptop, tablet or phone
• Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge are recommended browsers
